CETL & College Libraries: How can I make my course materials more affordable for students?

CETL & College Libraries: How can I make my course materials more affordable for students? In-Person

Do you find that many of your students are not buying the required texts for your courses, and are struggling academically as a result? Learn how to utilize open educational resources (OER), library materials, and other affordable learning options to alleviate financial pressures for your students, improve their academic success, and meet your own pedagogical needs.

This workshop will be especially helpful for instructors who plan to apply for the Course (Re)Design Retreat offered December 12-16. Please bring a laptop--the session will include time to explore affordable options for your own classes.

The workshop will be led by CofC librarians Kayla Kipps, Elena Rodriguez, and Gretchen Scronce. For more information, contact Gretchen (scronceg@cofc.edu).

Registration is requested but not required.
