Creative Wood Design with Hank Herring In-Person

 

If you enjoy building and crafting, join us for a Creative Wood Design workshop on September 16, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Avery Research for African American History and Culture. In partnership with the Gullah Geechee Heritage Cooridor, this 2-hour workshop, presented by Mixed Media and Woodworking Artist, Hank Herring, will teach attendees how to create their own masterpiece. This workshop will include instructions and hands-on activities, including, measuring and cutting wood, sanding, assembling, and embellishing the attendee's own keepsake box. For up to 30 attendees.
